Mike Bossy
Mike Bossy was fun to watch because you always knew what he was going to do. He was going to shoot. Every single time. That's how you score, so might as well let 'er rip. He played only 750 games in the NHL, yet walked away with 573 goals, the highest goals to games played ratio in history. I remember snagging a Mike Bossy "Titan" stick and thinking I would be able to work the same magic with it. I scored two goals in one game for the first time in my life. I followed that up with 3 more the rest of the season. 5 goals in 30 games. Mike Bossy I was not. Nobody ever will be. Call me when someone notches 9 straight 50 goal seasons in a row again in the NHL. And make sure in 5 of those 9 seasons he actually scored 60 or more goals. I doubt you'll call.
